This course covers, in full, the 17th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations incorporating Amendment No1:2011. It is the direct replacement for the 2381-10 course.
The course is aimed at those who have never done an IEE Wiring Regulations course or those with older qualifications wishing to gain a qualification in the latest version of the IET Wiring Regulations.
There are no formal entry requirements but candidates will need a reasonable knowledge of electrical installation work and basic principles.
The course covers all parts of the Regulations, including Special Installations and Locations and the Appendices.
A copy of BS 7671 is provided for each candidate along with various explanatory notes and sample questions to prepare students for the exam.
This course may be done over three days or six evenings.
Assessment is by an open-book two hour on-line exam consisting of 60 multiple choice questions.
