Occasionally circumstances (other than illness) may require students to be absent from College. In most circumstances an authorised absence form should be completed prior to the expected absence and the form should be authorised by the Course Organiser. There may also be exceptional circumstances where prior authorisation is not possible.
It is important that authorised absence is recorded particularly for bursary students so that attendance does not fall below the funded 90% level.
