Stow's shutterbugs show off their favourite images.
Students from the Introduction to Photography recently hosted an exhibition of their work. The work on display was a selection of black and white prints that the students had taken using manual SLR film cameras and then developed, printed and mounted themselves.
From the same starting point, the students developed their own style and subject interest during the course, which lead to a varied and visually interesting collection of images.
Although, most of the students are progressing onto the Camera Techniques course that follows on from this course, many want to take their photography even further and have photography courses lined up at the Glasgow Metropolitan College and the Art School as well as some photography work experience.
