Diploma in Womens Studies
This SQA course offers an opportunity to explore in more depth the issues affecting women in modern society. Open to both women and men, the course is suitable for those working, or seeking work, in related fields or those with an interest in this area.
Entry Requirements
Two Highers at grade C or above if recent school leaver. Relevant paid or unpaid work experience and evidence of ability to work at HN level for those over 21. Alternatively an appropriate range of SQA NC modules or NQ units. Entry by informal inter
Course Content
The course covers theories of gender in sociology and psychology, women's reproductive and mental health and women's history. A research project provides the opportunity to investigate further areas of particular interest.
