This SQA course offers an opportunity to explore in more depth the issues affecting women in modern society. Open to both women and men, the course is suitable for those working, or seeking work, in related fields or those with an interest in this area.

The course covers theories of gender in sociology and psychology, women's reproductive and mental health and women's history. A research project provides the opportunity to investigate further areas of particular interest.
