Designed for students who want to an Information Technology Manager or Supervisor, Database Administrator, Information Officer, Office Administrator, IT Solutions Developer. This course provides extensive skills in IT applications, Database design and administration, user support, business functions, finance and IT legislation. The aim of the course is to lead to employment or further studies (see progression below). The course incorporates the prestigious Oracle Academy Database Administrator vendor qualification.

One Higher Grade pass (A - C) and three Standard Grade passes (1-3) to include evidence of numeracy and communication skills, OR appropriate SQA modules/units. Those over 21 may be accepted with lower qualifications, depending on work experience.
Subjects include: IT Applications Packages (Microsoft Office); Internet and Web Page Design; Systems Analysis; Database Design and Administration; Multimedia; Information Systems; Finance; Supporting Users, Project Management; Business Functions; Working Within a Project Team.
