This course is intended for those who cannot manage to attend College on a regular basis.

The course enables you to enhance your qualification to an HNC in Electrical Engineering.

Appropriate tutorial support is provided by face-to-face, email and telephone. Opportunities for practical workshops will also be provided. This programme includes an element of self study.


Entry Requirements

An appropriate NC or Higher Maths or Physics or other relevant qualifications and experience.

  • Examination.


Funding Information

Part-time Fee Grant

If studied part time this course could attract funding of up to £500 of Part-time Fee Grant administered by SAAS. 

The new Part time Fee Grant (PFG - formerly ILA 500) is offered by Students Award Agency of Scotland (SAAS) and allows students to claim £500 towards college fees. The PFG can be claimed by individuals who are over 16, resident in Scotland (minimum 3 years from academic start date of course) and earn less than £25,000 per year. To take advantage of the PFG you must apply within 1 month of your course starting.
