Previously a semi-conductor process engineer, Tom decided to take an HNC in Computer Technology at Stow. As part of one of the modules, I had to build a small-scale, peer-to-peer computer network, which sparked his interest in networking. Later that year, I enrolled on the HND in Networking and Internetworking Technology and also attained an Advanced Certificate in Network Technology. While still a student, Tom was given part-time work in the ICT Department at Stow and was then offered a full-time job.
