Computing: Networking/IT: NC

For those who want to be a Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, Computer Technician, Network Administrator then this course provides entry to HND Networking/HND Technical Support. On completion of the HND students will be able to top-up their qualification to Degree standard or enter employment in the exciting IT industry where there are many job opportunities. Take the first steps now to a well-paid and fascinating career in the new knowledge-based industries.

Entry Requirements

3 Standard Grade passes and be able to demonstrate numeracy & communication skills. Remember that an appropriate group of NC/ NQ modules may be equivalent to a Standard Grade

Course Content

Subjects include: Networking fundamentals; Programming; Cisco; Computer Hardware & Systems; Troubleshooting & Secure IT Systems; Still images editing; Interactive multimedia for website design; Communications & Maths.
