The first year (HNC) of this course provides a thorough insight into the range of employment routes available and you will develop new skills and knowledge in a number of disciplines.
In recent years there has been a massive growth in vendor qualifications from CISCO, CompTIA, Microsoft, and Oracle which has led employers to look very favourably on applicants who possess the certificates. Some of these qualifications will be available as part of your course, others will be available to you to work towards out-with your normal timetable. This course, brand-new for session 2012-13, integrates all the traditional computing knowledge and skills to provide an excellent background for you to specialise in year two (HND) in one of the following areas (depending on numbers):

Candidates 25yrs or over may be accepted with lower qualifications, subject to relevant computing experience.
