Faculty of Creative Industries

Welcome to the Faculty of Creative Industries.  With approximately 1,000 learners the Faculty includes an exciting and diverse range of courses.  Glasgow is now a UNESCO City of Music and the largest creative hub in the UK outside of London.  Within the Faculty we see our role as preparing the next generation of performing artists, sound engineers, promoters and computer programmers/technicians to ensure that the creative talent is there so that Glasgow maintains its role as a culturally rich and happening city.

Although we have always been recognised for our Sound Production courses and music labels we have recently expanded our performance portfolio to include Music Performance (Rock/Pop), TV Production, Dance and Degrees in Commercial Music and Musical Theatre (Hons).  The Faculty now also delivers an exciting range of Computing courses including Games programming, Animation and Networking courses.

The industries represented by our range of courses utilise a wide variety of technologies and this is reflected in the fact that the Faculty is now a Microsoft Academy, a CISCO Networking Academy, CompTIA registered, an ORACLE Academy a VMware Academy and a ROLAND Academy.

So if you want to become part of a growing and dynamic industry why not take a look at our Courses and begin the journey on a new and exciting career.
