Access to Social Science

Designed to enable adults with no formal qualifications to prepare in one year for entry to HNC/HND programmes in the Social Sciences. 

Successful students are GUARANTEED a place on an HNC/HND course.

Part-time attendance will not affect claimants’ benefit situation.

Entry Requirements

Access courses provide support and guidance to help adults return to learning and to choose the most appropriate route to Higher Education.

There are no formal entry requirements and admission is by informal interview.

Communication; Study Skills; Philosophy; Economics; Psychology; Sociology; Information Technology; Statistics; Numeracy.
