Introduction

Are you apprehensive out about going to college? Are you worried about the transition from school to college? Or perhaps you haven't studied in a long time and are concerned about how you will cope with studying.

Yes, college can be demanding. But we’re here to help you every step of the way.

Perhaps the scary part is that you don't know what to expect academically. At Stow you will have the advantage of learning in small class groups. Our academic staff are friendly and we pride ourselves in putting your needs first. You will have a dedicated guidance teacher who will listen to any concerns you might have and your views about college life will be put forward by a student representative.

We have experience of supporting a diverse range of learners and work closely with international students, students with disabilities and additional learning needs.  We offer free, friendly advice and support at the Hub.

We are always keen to meet new students. If you would like to come in and see us, the Student Services Visitor Office is located on the ground floor of the College.
