This course is aimed at students who have achieved fluency at Gaelic (Learner) Higher level. Tuition for this course is delivered entirely through the medium of Gaelic. All applicants will therefore be expected to demonstrate sufficient proficiency in Gaelic reading, writing and speaking before an offer of a place can be made.
By interview (see above). Gaelic proficiency may be evidenced by, for example, appropriate SQA modules or Gaelic Higher (Learners). Considerations will also be given to applicants who possess alternative qualifications or experience.
Students will be able to studey a range of Gidhlig subjects at Access 3 and Intermediate 1 level: Listening and Reading; Speaking and Writing; Literature and Culture.
