Computer Aided Draughting & Design: PDA

This is a new PDA designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills for success in current and future employment as well as progression to further academic and/or professional qualifications. The PDA aims to help individuals, at various stages of their professional development, to gain a qualification that confirms their ability in the use of CAD relevant to current industry practice.

(SCQF Level 7)

Entry Requirements

Possession of an NC in a related disciplineeg. Engineering, Architecture, Furniture Design OR via an informal interview where each potential candidate can be judged on their own merit.

Course Content

2D Modelling; 3D Modelling; CAD Principles; Visualisation, Rendering and Presentation; Basic Modelling; Graphic Design & Architecture.
