Keep up to date with this years Graduation Awards Ceremony...

Graduands and their guests are invited to celebrate their special day with members
of the academic staff of Stow College.

The graduation receptions is our way of congratulating you on your success and gives us the opportunity to celebrate your achievement with you, your family and friends.

The award ceremony is taking place at the Glasgow Concert Hall on the 18th November 2011 at 7 pm.

We will populate this page with useful information about what will happen leading up to the event so please come back to keep up to date with the programme agenda and relevant dates/deadlines leading up to this special event.

Students who are potentially eligible to graduate will be contacted by the Marketing Team by post during September and asked to reply to confirm/decline their attendance to the  Graduation Ceremony.

If you have not received your letter of invitation to graduation by the end of September and you think you are eligible to attend this years graduation ceremonies, as a matter of urgency please contact your lecturer.

Attending the Ceremony is free to all eligible students and their guests, and students are encouraged to bring along family and friends to join in the celebrations.  The Ceremony will include a programme of musical entertainment, and following the formal Graduation Ceremony there will be a short reception with refreshments for graduates and their guests. 

The Graduation Awards Ceremony is a formal event and as such all graduating students must wear an academic gown and hood.  Details of how to hire gowns will be forwarded to you after you have registered.  Gowns will be delivered to the Concert Hall on the day of the event. 

You are of course encouraged to bring along cameras and video cameras to capture memories of the occasion.  For more formal photographs, however, the services of a professional photographer will be available at the Ceremony.  You will receive information on prices and options available nearer the time.  

To register for graduation and to secure your place you should email the following information to the graduation co-ordinator, David Robertson, at graduation@stow.ac.uk

• Name as you wish it to appear on your certificate
• Course  
• Number of guest tickets 
• Telephone number

Alternatively you can complete and return the below ticket request form.  Please only request tickets for guests you know will definitely be attending.  You will be able to request further tickets nearer the time if required.

Responses must be received by Friday 21^st October.  Please note that if you do not respond by email or do not return the ticket request, you cannot be guaranteed a place at the Ceremony.
