BENEFITS OF COLLEGE QUALIFICATIONS

A major benefit of studying for qualifications at College is the flexibility and range of options that are open to you.

For example, you may be contemplating a Degree course at University but you are finding the idea quite daunting. If you have to leave a University
programme after two years you will not have much to show for it.

Taking a College programme at the most appropriate level means that when you achieve the programme award (e.g. HNC) this forms a stand alone qualification which cannot be taken from you no matter what course of study you subsequently take.

In addition, articulation methods are such nowadays that you can normally transfer to an associated University Degree course (if available) at the same level as you would have been had you gone to University in the first place - plus you may now have an additional HNC and HND qualification in your chosen subject area!
