APPLY FOR A COURSE

Applying for a Stow College course is straightforward. Once you have selected the course(s) you are interested in simply complete and return a Course Application Form as soon as possible.

Due to the high demand for courses at Stow College please submit your Application Form as early as you can. Applications can be made at any time of the year.

Application procedure

If you are applying for a full-time course you will be invited to the College for a short, informal interview to discuss your application and finance options.

This is to enable you to find out more about the course and ensure you have chosen the best option for your needs and abilities and finance options.

If your application is successful you will then receive a formal offer of a place. This will be either an unconditional or a conditional offer.

An unconditional offer means that you fulfil the entry requirements and have been accepted on to the course. A conditional offer means that if you achieve certain qualifications and/or examination grades you will secure your place on the course.

If the College is unable to offer you a place on the course of your choice we will normally be able to advise you of an alternative course or level of study.

If you decide to withdraw your application at any time it is important that you inform Learner Services at the College immediately. This will enable us to offer the place being held for you to other applicants.

Information and application forms for bursaries, grants and student loans will be sent to you together with the enrolment date for your course.

It is essential you attend College on this date. You will be enrolled on your course and receive an induction pack.
