   so i left school in 2008 with 5 highers, so am i know a mature student???
   also i would like to stugy physics, chemistry and biology at higher level as i did not study any science subjects but biology at standard grade. I need these highers for a course i would like to do, which is forensics. However im not sure if it will be possible or if they will let me do the highers as i dont have them in standard grade apart from biology...
   does anyone know what the chances are of this???

   Hi, no i don't think you are a mature student until you are 26. I think you can sit highers even if you haven't done the standard grade as my friend is doing that at another college.

   Hi, yes you can study for highers on a part time basis at Stow although each higher equals 6 hours per week, If you were studying 3 highers you should look at the highers full time option on the website: http://www.stow.ac.uk/stow-courses/highers-full-tme-183.html
