Dealing with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) was introduced into UK law in January 2007 by the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Regulations 2006. The aim of the directive is to reduce the amount of electrical and electronic equipment being produced and to encourage everyone to reuse, recycle and recover it. It also aims to improve the environmental performance of businesses that manufacture, supply, use, recycle and recover electrical and electronic equipment.

Training is essential to ensure that you fully understand the implications of these Regulations. This course has been designed with step by step training that provides you with the insight that you require to meet your compliance obligations. The training follows an easy format that allows you to understand how to comply with WEEE, ensuring that your services are Environmentally Sustainable, Cost Effective and that they meet your Corporate and Social responsibilities.
