CCNA Exploration 3: LAN Switching and Wireless

CCNA Exploration teaches networking based on technology, covering networking concepts using a top-down, theoretical, and integrated approach and helps prepare students for entry-level career opportunities, continuing education, and the globally-recognized Cisco CCNA certification.

Entry Requirements

Industry experience. At least 6 months to 1 year computing experience – applicants should be comfortable with basics of computing and computer networking.

Course Content

By enrolling on to the Cisco Networking Academy students will learn how to:

Interpret network design diagrams

Perform and verify switch configuration tasks

Configure, verify and troubleshoot VLAN's, VTP and STP

Identify the basic parameters to configure a wireless network

15 Evenings (2 Evenings per week) 5.45 to 8.45 pm

Candidates who successfully completed this course will be eligible for progression to module 4: Accessing the WAN
